Camps to be visited in 2008 will need
to complete the new Standards Training.
It is our goal to get one person from
each camp to become Standards Visitors.
We hope you will consider attending the
Associate Visitor Training listed below.
Also, I have listed a Visitor Update and
for those visitors who were unable to attend
an update prior to this summer season.
Standards Training
March 14
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri
Council 9 a.m. - noon
For those camps scheduled to be visited
this summer.
We will still
be setting up more Visitor Updates
and Standards Updates but I am waiting
to see about the online updates. It
is our hope that these will be ready
after the first of the year. Standards
Training is also being offered at the
ACA conference in Nashville. |
Standards Course
and Associate Visitor Training
Course
April 25-26
The full course is for those wanting
to become visitors. The Friday portion
includes those camps being visited this
summer. The course will be held Friday
afternoon, from is 4:30 – 9:30
p.m.
The remainder of the course for
new Associate Visitors (all attending
must have completed the Standards Course)
will be held Saturday from 8:30 a.m.
to 5:30 p.m.
Both course
will be held at Camp Fiddlecreek in Gray
Summit, MO, just west of St. Louis. |
